Sweet story about two people who start in lust and grow to love each other. Standalone, adults, very little drama, steamy romance, humour. A lovely, sweet romance recommended when you want to be entertained and feel good.
The author balances fun and realistic issues. I didn't give a five because of the scattered feel brought about with so many issues and a few inconsistent plot lines. As far as the characters and their love story go though it's a fun book that has enough controversy to keep you wanting to see where it goes. I read a free advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed this story. I love books like this one where the lead male character has no interest in a relationship lasting more than a couple of nights meets the woman who makes him want forever. Vali is the woman who makes Finn want forever. I thought this story had enough realism to make it believable, but also a good deal of fun to make it entertaining as well.
I loved this book with captivating characters and well-crafted plot that kept me glued to the book from the first word right through to the last one. I was so involved in Finn and Vali's story, that I didn't want it to end. This is a great beginning to the Caribbean Nights series and I look forward to reading more from this author. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Anne Marsh is one of my favorite authors and she did gave us another cute read. Finn a former Navy Seal and manwhore is in business with former teammates near the Keys. Valentina meets Finn when he stops to help her with car trouble. Valentina want Finn and she is fine with his hit it and quit it ways because she does not want anything serious. However, Finn wants more and pursues Valentina. If you are looking for a cute read with fun read then snap this one up.
I loved Vali. She was a take charge woman who took her health into her own hands. The fact she had a bucket list was icing on the cake. Finn changed throughout the book and that was a bonus for me. Once I started the book I couldn't put it down. The characters were all great - especially Vali's mom who was relentless in her pursuit of a husband for her daughter. Overall I found the story sweet with plenty of sex and characters that I want to read more about. After finishing this book, I have now downloaded the rest in the series.

Finn is a former Navy Seal who trains working dogs with his two Seal brothers. Vali is a candy maker who is mourning the recent loss of her sister and aunt to breast cancer. They both live and work in Angel Cay, a small island in the Florida keys. They meet when her car ends up in a ditch after trying to miss some palm fronds in the road. Finn's billionaire friend Xander bets him a million dollars that he can't stay celibate for 30 days or lose his share of the dog business. Vali's Cuban mother in Miami is trying to marry her off to get grandchildren. She needs a fake fiancé and he needs what looks like a committed relationship. It's well written and a fun read.
